Welcome to Poketinerary!
As we’re sure you will have already read from the sidebar during your time on the website, Poketinerary was built with the intention (and hope) of helping anyone who is planning on visiting Japan. With a special focus being placed on the Pokemon side of it.
That said, it isn’t JUST for Pokemon fans so don’t click off just yet. We have and continue to compile lots of relevant guides, blog posts and news specific to Japan that everyone will find useful, including but not limited to: buying eSims, booking tickets to Baseball games, tax free, SUICA and much more.
If you ARE a Pokemon fan, then you will find all of the above, as well as prebuilt itineraries designed to make your time visiting Pokemon Centers and Pokemon TCG Shops as efficient and smooth as possible. You will also find dedicated information on many Pokemon Centers, TCG shops in each Tokyo and Osaka district as well as TCG news (coming soon).
About us personally:
We are a married couple who have a joint love for all things Pokemon and Japan. We have spent 100’s of hours exploring Japan’s TCG stores, Pokemon Centers and as a result Japan itself, having visited all of Tokyo and its surrounding areas (like Funabashi and Kanagawa), Osaka, Kobe, Kyoto and Nara and more. Not to mention the 1000’s of hours researching (yep, one of us tends to go a little overboard when it comes to research).
We also love Japan’s culture and of course food, as we imagine many do too!
We realise that visiting Japan is something that requires a lot of research, and being there itself can be overwhelming. It’s a lot of information to process, and whilst Youtube does help when it comes to research, it still leaves many things unanswered and there was no other online resource that provided much help. Hence the birth of Poketinerary, where we share many step by step guides and all the information we think would be useful to know (at least it was to us).
If even a single page on our website brings you some value, then we could not be happier and we hope it does!
