JR Osaka Station: A short 5 minute walk away from the Umeda department store. Offering JR lines.

Umeda Station: Also located roughly a 5 minute walk away from the Umeda department store. Offering Hankyu & Osaka Metro lines.

Unique Features

Kansai themes merchandise and some exclusives: including items such as pins, sleeves and stationary. Kansai themed merchandise is often sold exclusively at the Osaka and Kyoto centers.

Strong, classic Pokemon Center feel: featuring a bright, lively interior with iconic character displays such as the Paldea starters and Koraidon.

Weekdays are key: often uses a numbered ticket system to allow entry, particularly on weekends and during holidays. Visiting on a weekday offers a significantly less busy experience with little or no entry queues.

Location: central location in one of Osaka’s busiest districts. The One Piece, Nintendo and Capcom stores can be found in the same building.

Find the Medalief machine near to the game console area by the entrance/exit.

🌆 Umeda Sky Building: A two tower skyscraper offering panoramic views of Osaka. The 39th floor is free, while 40th charges a small fee. If you like photos, it’s a must visit. Roughly a 9 minute walk from the Pokemon Center.

🎡 HEP Five Ferris Wheel: Sat atop a shopping complex in Umeda is the HEP Ferris Wheel, which offers a truly unique experience as well as views of the city. Taking about 15 minutes per full rotation. You can get to HEP Five in about 14 minutes (walk) from the Pokemon Center.

🛍️ Whity Umeda Underground Mall: One of Japan’s largest underground shopping centers which offers various shops, restaurants and services. It also offers unmatched connectivity to the JR and Hankyu stations. It’s roughly a 10 minute walk away from the Pokemon Center.
