Bookoffs are brilliant for finding hidden gem singles, due to the fact that they are not pure card stores, meaning it is not uncommon to find cards for much cheaper than market. That said, do not expect to find any sealed product or slabs available. This particular branch is less visited than other Bookoff locations in central Osaka. Naturally, those that experience more traffic, especially from tourists, are less likely to have deals left on the shelf.

During our visit the store had lots of vintage and modern as well as other TCG’s available. That said, they had no Pokemon sealed product or slabs available. Prices were very fair and they even had a dedicated daily sales section with decent deals!

Among the largest selection of cards in all of Kansai. Plenty of fairly priced slabs and raw cards, both modern and vintage. Some sealed product available. Standoffish staff.

Cheapest priced sealed product we found. Singles prices can be hit or miss, depends on the day. Less foreigner traffic compared to Osaka.

Varied selection of modern and vintage. Generally cheapest prices for singles we came across. Important to check condition as even white labels can be damaged. Limited sealed available. Retail price for single packs straight from a booster box with daily limits per person. Not weighed!
