Ikebukuro

Ikebukuro is the next-best district in Tokyo, after Akihabara, for Pokémon TCG hunting. It’s high concentration of specialised card shops makes it a prime location for collectors and game enthusiasts.

Most shops are located near the East Exit of Ikebukuro Station, making it easy to jump between stores – ideal for those with cram-packed itineraries. Just keep an eye on the clock, though… time tends to fly when you are having fun!

If you’ve got a little extra time, why not check out the nearby Sunshine City complex – a ‘city within a city’ that has everything you need from dining and shopping to indoor theme parks and even an aquarium. And of course, we cant forget the famous Pokémon Center Mega Tokyo store…

About

Located on the second floor of the Sunshine City Alpa shopping complex, Pokémon Center Mega Toyko is recognised as the largest Pokémon Center by floor space in Japan – it is also complimented by the nearby Pikachu Sweets Cafe.

This official Pokémon store offers a wide selection of mechandise, including plushies, stationery, and a variety of collectibles.

Trading cards are sold new and sealed only. The store does not sell single or graded cards, nor does it offer in-store or online appraisals. We recommend visiting in person to check the availability of sealed TCG products.

Head on over to our Pokémon Center section for more information on location, exclusive merch and nearby attractions!
