Center Exclusives
Pokemon Center Kyoto generally offers various exclusive plushies as well as other items such as pins, pouches and bags, folding fans, biscuit tins and more (Kyoto themed).

Nearest Stations:
Shijo Station: (Karasuma Line) directly connected to the SUINA Muromachi shopping center that the Pokemon Center is located in. Find exit 26 which allows entry to either the shopping mall or the subway itself.
Karasuma Station: (Hankyu Line) – Approx 2 minute walk to and from Pokemon Center Kyoto. Similar to the above, you should also follow signs for Exit 26 on arrival or departure.
Unique Features
Kyoto exclusive merch: featuring various plushies, keychains, logo pin, and Kyoto themed accessories and gifts, this center has something for all!
Traditional design: a calmer, less chaotic center than big city counterparts, with wooden interiors and Kyoto style decor. The merchandise sections are very well organised and the center itself feels and looks very elegant, with plenty of photo spots including of Kimono Pikachu.
More limited than others: not as much TCG product as other centers (still fine for a pack or two). Some items are typically only sold via lottery. More of a Pokemon boutique experience, but still worth a visit.

Nishiki Market: Roughly a 7 minute walk from the Pokemon Center lies a market known as ‘Kyoto’s Kitchen’ which is packed with street foods, snacks, and unique souvenirs. Most shops are open daily between 9am – 6pm. If you’re a foodie, you NEED to visit it. Rated: 10/10
Gion District: Located a 24 minute walk away from the Pokemon Center, you’ll find Kyoto’s historic & scenic geisha district. Offering plenty of tea houses, traditional streets, and classic Japanese architecture. Note, some alleyways have banned tourists to prevent overcrowding so be sure to pay attention or you may face a fine of 10,000 yen. Rated: 9/10
Kiyomizu-dera Temple: Located a 40 minute walk (or 14 minute drive) away from the Pokemon Center, is one of Japan’s most iconic temples, revered for its panoramic city views. It offers a true cultural experience, with it’s architecture and scenic surroundings. It is prone to extreme crowding and can be a demanding hike due to the number of stairs and the steep uphill climb for some visitors. Rated: 9/10
