Home to Japan’s tallest tower, the Tokyo Skytree, Sumida is impossible to miss—quite literally.

Famous for its sky-high views, the area offers sweeping panoramas of Tokyo and, on clear days, even a glimpse of Mount Fuji—making it a favourite spot for photos (if the clouds are feeling generous that is).

While Sumida may not be as packed with Pokémon product as some other districts, it’s still absolutely worth a visit.

Once you’ve exhausted the views, and explored all things Pokémon, why not head to nearby Sensoji Temple, Tokyo’s oldest and most famous Buddhist temple, for a taste of Japanese culture!

1. Pokémon Center Skytree Town

Pokémon Center Skytree Town sits directly beneath Skytree Tower, packed with exclusive merch—a must-grab for collectors. Time your visit right, and you might even catch special Pokémon-themed events or displays inside the tower itself!

This official Pokémon store offers a wide selection of merchandise, including plushies, stationery, and a variety of collectibles.

Trading cards are sold new and sealed only. The store does not sell single or graded cards, nor does it offer in-store or online appraisals. We recommend visiting in person to check the availability of sealed TCG products.
